Le mans Classic has been an event I've always read about, however never had the means to attend. This year I decided I might as well take the drive down and try to capture some photos.

After a long drive I got to my first pit stop, the eery Circuit de Reims-Gueux, where it seems everyone there was also going to Le Mans Classic, including two rather elegant Mercedes 300SL.

Unfortunately I was only able to attend the Friday practise session of Le Mans Classic, however it was still definitively worth the trip. This years event had the Porsche 70th Anniversary showcase, which definitely didn't disappoint. Some of the most influential Porsches were on display and on track including an unrestored 911 Carrera 2.1 RSR Turbo and a brutal 935. Not to mention the 917s, however, they seemed a dime a dozen, somehow...
