Benjafield's Double Twelve

Pre-war racing enthusiasts were blessed in September with a behind closed doors race around Goodwood, exclusively for Bentleys produced before 1931. Over 25 Bentleys stormed around the circuit for 16 hours straight, testing both the driver and the car's consistency and reliability. The Benjafield’s Double Twelve is an event elicited with the guidelines from the original Brooklands Double Twelve race in 1930, a race that came about due to noise restrictions in period, meaning the cars would be put to the test for 12 hours each day and locked up in-between each stint, prohibiting any repairs after the flag was waved at the end of the day. Below are a few images from the weekend!
