Below is a collection of images I shot at the Pendine Historics showroom, located in the rather unique Blast House at Bicester Heritage. Inside there is an eclectic collection of classic road and race cars, there is a vast array of cars, although they are from similar eras, mainly from the late 50's to the 70's, each car is different in every aspect, showing the development in the automotive industry over time, from an orange 1971 Porsche 911 ‘S/T’ race car which is stripped out and presented in an immaculate condition with a set of harnesses etc, to a charming 1955 Jaguar XK140 fixed head coupe with a deep red leather interior. Each car has a rather unique spec, one that springs to mind instantly is the light metallic green Ac Ace Bristol. I would never have thought a green interior would suit green paint work on a car, I always thought it would be too much of the same colour. However, my mind has been changed now after seeing an example in person!
A big thanks to Pendine for allowing me to visit for the day and letting me have free roam of the showroom to capture any photos I'd like! Make sure to check out their site to view their full range of cars. Enjoy!
